Educational Highlights:
All students are challenged to achieve personal excellence in all aspects of their learning. Our school has gained excellent academic results over recent years, following the national, NCEA qualification system, with many students achieving highly in their areas of expertise or passion.
We offer ESOL (english language) classes as part of your international program and IELTS support if you are staying long-term.
Cultural Highlights:
Students have the opportunity to participate in an extensive range of cultural activities, including (but not limited to) Ambassador and Leadership Progammes, Maori Culture Group, Tai Tokerau Festival, art and photography exhibitions, school productions/drama, Choir, Orchestra, Stage Challenge and Smoke Free Rock Quest.

Sporting Highlights
Te Kamo High School offers opportunities for students to get involved in sports whether at a high level, to improve fitness and promote healthy lifestyle choices or as a social participant. The school has excellent facilities including a swimming pool, two gyms, turf area for tennis, netball or hockey, a rugby / league field, two football fields, outdoor basketball and volleyball areas as well as cricket nets. The gymnasiums are equipped for netball, basketball, volleyball, futsal, indoor hockey, badminton, table tennis and include a well-equipped weights training room.
