Meet Student Ambassador - Amelie Otto

Amelie is from Germany and is studying at Kerikeri High School while living with a host family in Kerikeri. She is one of our 2020 Study Northland Student Ambassadors.

Being here in New Zealand is very exciting for me and I’m glad that I chose Northland.

I chose Northland for my exchange year because it’s so different from where i live in Germany and I personally think it was a great opportunity to try out something new!

I love the school here but even better are the people!! Everyone is so friendly and open, which makes it easy to get along with everyone and makes the stay without my own family pretty easy.

I’m glad i have my host family though because they became like my second family and I love them heaps!!
