Meet Student Ambassador: Jaeyeon Lee
Jaeyeon is from South Korea and is studying at Huanui College while living with a host family in Whangarei. He is one of our 2020 Study Northland Student Ambassadors.
What do you love most about studying at school in New Zealand?
I can speak english more than korea. I want to learn english that reason I came to nz.
I can go to the UK but Nz is more beautiful and has clean air.
I love farms, gardens and nature space in nz.
What are your favourite experiences in Northland?
I think my last school camp. Before I came to Huanui I was at Matarau school.
Last week at school we went on a year 8 trip to poor knights islands. That was very cool.
What is like living with a homestay family?
I am homestaying another korean family. Being nice to me, and helping me.
When I homestay with kiwi family I can learn more about kiwi style.
What are your interests, sports and hobbies?
My hobby is cooking, I think I am good at cooking.
I am playing football for Northland and huanui. I am also playing basketball for huanui.
