Experience NorthTec as a high school student…

While in year 12 or 13 at High school, all Northland international students get the opportunity to visit NorthTec’s Whangarei Campus for an introduction and tour of the campus, some class work, lunch and a Q&A session with NorthTec students andplus a hands-on component either at NorthTec or out in the field. Students will be able to choose from the following courses:

QRC Tai Tokerau

With campus locations in Paihia (Hospitality Management & Tourism Operations) and Kerikeri (Cookery), QRC Tai Tokerau Resort College offers great study options in the Northland region. Experience QRC as a high school student…

The QRC Experience takes place every school holidays at QRC’s Taitokerau Campus in Paihia and includes: finding out about QRC’s Diploma in Hospitality Management, Certificate in Hospitality Service and Certificate in Tourism Operations, meeting the staff, talking to students and joining in with classroom and social activities. Stay in the Halls of Residence overnight and visit leading hotel and tourism operations with behind the scenes access. Take a jetboat ride in the Bay of Islands. More info…


Pathways to tertiary & careers in Northland

The post study open work visa which means that those international students who study at level 7 and above are eligible to work in NZ for up to three years with any employer.
