While in year 12 or 13 at High school, all Northland international students get the opportunity to visit NorthTec’s Whangarei Campus for an introduction and tour of the campus, some class work, lunch and a Q&A session with NorthTec students andplus a hands-on component either at NorthTec or out in the field. Students will be able to choose from the following courses:
- Bachelor of Sport and Recreation
- Bachelor of Applied Arts
- Conservation – Bachelor of Applied Science
- Bachelor of Nursing

The QRC Experience takes place every school holidays at QRC’s Taitokerau Campus in Paihia and includes: finding out about QRC’s Diploma in Hospitality Management, Certificate in Hospitality Service and Certificate in Tourism Operations, meeting the staff, talking to students and joining in with classroom and social activities. Pathways to tertiary & careers in Northland
